Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website likelabfurniture.com (the “Website”) and any enquiry, quotation or order placed with Like Lab Furniture (“we”, “us”, “our”), Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (GSTIN 33FDMPP4405A1ZV).

By using the Website or placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

Use of the Website

• You may use the Website only for lawful purposes, such as learning about our products and sending genuine enquiries.
• You must not attempt to hack, overload, copy or misuse the Website, upload harmful files, or send spam or false information through our forms.
• We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Website at any time without notice.

Products & Information

We try to keep all product descriptions, specifications, images and dimensions accurate. However:

• Images are for illustration; actual colours, finishes and accessories may vary slightly.
• Specifications may be changed or improved without notice as part of our continuous development.
• Most of our products are made or customised to order, so the final specification is the one agreed in your written quotation or order confirmation.

Quotations & Prices

• Prices shown on the Website or on third-party listings are indicative only and may change without notice.
• A written quotation from us is valid for the period stated on it (or 30 days if no period is stated).
• Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude GST, packing, freight, unloading, installation and civil or electrical work, which will be charged as mentioned in the quotation.
• An order is confirmed only when we accept it in writing and receive any agreed advance payment.

Orders & Payment

• Payment terms (advance, part payments and balance) are as stated in the quotation or proforma invoice.
• Payments can be made by bank transfer, UPI or other methods we agree to. A GST invoice will be issued for every sale.
• Production starts after the advance is received and the final drawings or specifications are approved by you.
• If payment is delayed, we may hold dispatch or installation until the due amount is paid.

Delivery & Installation

• Delivery and installation times given are estimates and start from the date of order confirmation, advance receipt and drawing approval.
• You must provide clear access, a ready site (flooring, plumbing, electrical and civil work, as applicable) and safe storage for materials on arrival.
• Delays caused by site readiness, changes requested by you, transport problems or events beyond our control will extend the delivery time.
• Please check the goods on delivery and report any visible transit damage within 48 hours, with photos.

Cancellations & Changes

• As most products are custom-made, orders cannot be cancelled after production has started. Any advance paid may be adjusted against materials purchased and work already done.
• Changes to size, design or quantity after drawing approval may affect the price and delivery date, and must be agreed in writing.
• Standard, unused items may be returned only with our prior written approval; transport and restocking charges may apply.

Warranty

• Our products carry a warranty against manufacturing defects for the period mentioned in the quotation or invoice.
• During the warranty period we will repair or replace the defective part, at our option.
• The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, chemical damage beyond the material’s stated resistance, overloading, accidents, unauthorised repairs or modifications, or damage from improper site conditions.
• Bought-out items (such as blowers, filters, taps, fittings and electrical parts) carry the warranty given by their own manufacturer.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, product photos, drawings, logos, graphics and design — belongs to Like Lab Furniture or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written consent. Drawings and designs we prepare for your project remain our property until fully paid for, and may not be shared with other suppliers.

Limitation of Liability

• The Website is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or error-free.
• To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of profit, data or business.
• Our total liability for any order shall not exceed the amount you paid us for that order.

Privacy

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to resolve any dispute through friendly discussion. If it cannot be resolved, the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Website after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Orders already confirmed follow the Terms in force on the date of confirmation.
